Coffee with Maxime, first mentoring session, and a great chat!
Thomas Sanlis
Heyyy everyone šš»
I have a lot to share today š. First of all, I had the chance to grab coffee this morning with Maxime, a fellow French entrepreneur!
Not only does it feel good to speak a bit of French haha, but also, Maxime has a fascinating background, unconventional and completely different from mine: we spent a lot of time talking, it was a great moment!
Maxime, if you're reading this, I wish you all the success in the world, and I hope we'll cross paths again very soon šš»!

Then, headed to the villa to work a bit... Well, that's what I thought š . I spent quite a bit of time chatting with Travis, Rob, Josef, David and other people from the villa, and I really loved that moment š„°.
I feel like it's becoming easier and easier to chat! Everyone is very open, and I think that helps a lot š.
Then, in the early afternoon, I did my very first mentoring session with an indie hacker!! That might sound a bit vague haha, I'll give you more details.
I spent 2 years as a teacher in a Montessori coding school: I supervised students a few days a month, mostly supporting them with their projects.
It's something I miss a lot, and I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to do that with indie hackers, one-on-one, but I never dared to leap!
And then yesterday, an indie hacker I often chat with asked me if I wanted to do that for him!!! Honestly, I find that crazy š .
I suggested: okay, but let's do it for free at first, and if in the end you find it useful, then we'll see about a price! He insisted on it being paid from the start š
I had a great time! His product is incredibly well-made, and has huge potential. I really believe in it, and that makes all the difference: it gives me tons of ideas, and Iām sooo excited to see if I can really bring some value here!
I think I'll mainly help him with marketing, acquisition, and SEO. I won't give you his name for now. I'll ask him first if he's okay with it š.
The rest of the day was dedicated to work: I mainly fixed small bugs, and added 2-3 small features on Uneed and Writizzy.
See you tomorrow for more shipping š!
