Hacker Residency: Day #10

10 days in Vietnam already!

Writizzy is my new project: a powerful and minimalist blogging platform. You should try it!

Ok I won’t lie: I forgot to write this post yesterday, so I’m writing it early in the morning, the day after 😅.

The day went really well for me: I made a lot of progress on Uneed and Writizzy.

I love working on Writizzy. It’s very different from Uneed! There aren’t 50 features, and the goal is really to focus on delivering a great user experience, flawless design, etc., rather than adding new features every day. It’s a different way of moving forward—slower, maybe more satisfying too.

At the end of the day, like every Monday at the Hacker Residency, there were demos. Each person gets 2 minutes to explain what they worked on the previous week. The format is very open, and everyone does it differently.

Of course, I couldn’t help but break the rules 😅. Instead of showing what I’d been working on, I decided to put together a few slides to try and convince everyone that they needed a blog!

Starting next Monday on Writizzy, we’re launching a challenge: #14Posts14Days. One post per day, for 14 days, published on Writizzy. During these 14 days, we’ll be giving out discount codes for one month of premium access to the platform. Plus, everyone who completes the challenge will win 6 months of premium subscription!

The goal: gather as much feedback as possible, and most importantly, prove to people that blogging has a future. We’ll see next Monday if it worked 👀!

Big shoutout to Tiago, who posted one of the first public posts on Writizzy 🤩!! Thank you, Tiago!

See your tomorrow for a more interesting post 😅👋🏻
